Scope
This policy covers the Steak Escape public website, Contact form, Employment Application, Franchise Inquiry, website analytics, security logging, and related communications. It does not replace a separate notice supplied for another service or by an independently operated franchise location.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: names, email addresses, telephone numbers, locations, messages, employment application information, franchise markets, and other content you submit.
- Website and device information: IP-derived network and approximate geographic information, page paths, referrers, browser/device type, dates and times, campaign parameters, session and visitor identifiers, and selected website actions.
- Security information: error details, request metadata, fraud-prevention signals, CAPTCHA results, and logs needed to protect forms, accounts, and services.
- Privacy preferences: your analytics choice and the date it was saved in your browser.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information that a form does not request.
Purposes and legal bases
- Provide requested services and respond to you: to process Contact and Franchise Inquiry submissions and take steps you request before a potential business relationship.
- Employment recruiting: to evaluate and respond to applications and take steps requested by an applicant before a potential employment relationship.
- Operate and secure the website: for our legitimate interests in reliable service, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, protecting users, and establishing or defending legal claims.
- First-party analytics: only with your consent, to measure visits and actions and improve website performance. You may withdraw this consent at any time through “Privacy choices.”
- Legal obligations: when processing is necessary to meet applicable recordkeeping, employment, tax, regulatory, or legal requirements.
The required acknowledgement beside a public form confirms that you received the applicable notice. It does not authorize unrelated marketing or analytics.
