Steak Escape promotion awards free wraps for a year
Columbus, OH, October 13, 2009 — The chance to win free wraps for a year is powerful motivation. Steak Escape restaurant confirmed that in a recent promotion that saw its e-newsletter sign-up rate jumped
27 percent. The contest, which awarded four lucky Steak Escape fans with free wraps for a year, simply required customers to register for the monthly e-newsletter, E-scape, in order to be entered.
“Our e-newsletter is a valuable communication tool for us to pass along special deals to our most loyal customers,” said Dave Smith, Vice President of Operations for Steak Escape, “and so we look for fun ways to spread the word about it. And clearly, this was an offer our customers liked.”
The four winners, who are from Tustin, Calif., Memphis, Tenn., Madison, Wis., and New Orleans, La., were chosen from all new and existing subscribers to the e-newsletter. Customers could sign up through Steak Escape’s Web site, or by dropping a business card in specially marked containers at the restaurants.

New Steak Escape opens in Flowood, Mississippi!
Columbus, OH, April 11, 2009 — Long-time Steak Escape franchisees Jim and Greg Thomas recently opened their newest Steak Escape in the Dogwood Promenade in Flowood, Mississippi. Their new Steak Escape is a free-standing restaurant with a drive-thru and is the largest free-standing location ever opened in the Steak Escape system. The restaurant features a dining room that seats 88 as well as an outdoor patio that seats an additional 32 guests.
With other Steak Escape locations in the Jackson, Mississippi market, the opening of this location was much anticipated by the loyal customer base that the Thomas’ have established over the years.
New Steak Escape Grille opens in Strongsville, Ohio!
Columbus, OH, April 6, 2009 — Also in April we had the opening of our newest Steak Escape grille by new franchisee Chris Blumfeldt. This location was the third of the new Grille concept locations to open and the first outside of Columbus, Ohio. Although new to the Strongsville area, the Steak Escape grille was very well received by the local community and was another very successful opening for the company in 2009.
